ISTD Assessment

This project was for the 2012 ISTD Assessment. I chose to to the rebrand brief titled 'Putting on a Fresh Face'. I chose to redesign the logo and the website. The logo is based around the ligature, that signifies the coming together of the society and the typographic designers. The website uses typographic elements such as the pilcrow as the navigation links. Each one of the elements has a link to the page it leads to, for example; the pilcrow denotes a new paragraph - the assessment brings new work. The website is also designed to show more per page by having two layers. The top layer of the site can be minimised to bring up other information, for example; the homepage can be minimised to reveal the latest submitted work.
